The ECE department was established in the year 2007 with an intake of 60 students, which enhanced to 90 students in the year 2008, later to 120 students from the year 2009. The main aim of the department is to make centre of excellence in academics, Research and Development activities. It has the necessary infrastructural facilities required for imparting high quality education.
The department is fully structured to meet the contemporary needs of the industry. Imparting high quality education is supported by well qualified and experienced faculty. Seminars, Workshops and Technical Symposia are conducted in the department to keep faculty and students updated with latest developments in various technologies.Some faculty members of the department have a good record of research activities with many publications in international and national journals, conferences and filing the patents.Students actively participate in National-level Student Paper Contests being organized at various other Engineering Colleges.Some of them have also been awarded best paper in the contests.
The department has well equipped laboratories namely electronic devices and circuits lab, Communications lab, Simulation lab. Department has an exclusive Departmental library and consisting of E-Learning resources like NPTEL and provided with internet facility.E-YUVA, on behalf of this association we conduct various curricular and co-curricular activities to ignite the hidden talents of the students. The students in the department are moulded into competent core Engineering and Software professionals, to face the challenges of the industry sector.
HOD
Mr. V.Srinivas has Fifteen Years of experience in Teaching and research. He obtained Master of Technology in Instrumentation&Control from JNTUK-Kakinada and Bachelor of Technology in Electronics &Communication Engineering from jntu, Kakinada. Mr.V.Srinivas has been involved in research and published eight papers in international journals and one paper presented in international conference. He is the member of ISTE and IETE.
